Therapeutic approach

I believe in the Integrative therapeutic approach since every person has their own individual struggle and there is no size that fits all. 

Research has shown that integrative psychotherapy has extensive benefits and is proven to be effective in the treatment of mental health difficulties. 

With this approach different therapeutic methods and schools of though are integrated to suit the presented needs of the individual. It is also an integration of the affective, cognitive, behavioral and physical systems within a person. The relationship is at center of the therapy and understood by drawing upon attachment theory and affect theory. 

My theoretical foundation and the main talking psychotherapy I use is Psychodynamic, however I use tools from a range of psychotherapies such as Client Centered Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Schema Therapy as well as body oriented therapies such as somatic experiencing and yoga therapy to fit the clients individual needs in their journey towards wellbeing.

How do I know if I need therapy?

Psychological therapy is something anyone can benefit from. If you are suffering from low mood, anxiety,  relationship problems, sleeping difficulties, unexplained physical pains or struggling to cope with your emotions, therapy can be helpful. Even if you are not currently suffering therapy can help you gain insights of your patterns and needs that were formed in childhood and how they affect you now in your everyday life. Together with a trained professional you can get to know yourself in a non judgemental way helping you gain self-awareness, self-confidence and self-acceptance. 

What are the costs for a therapy session? 

The price for a 45 minute therapy session is 1100kr. I have a cancellation policy of 24 hours.

In what language can we do the therapy?

Therapy is available in Swedish, English, Italian and Dutch. 

Are the services confidential? 

Absolutely. Legally, no confidential information can be shared without your express written approval. The only exception to the rule is if I believe that you or someone else is in immediate danger. In that circumstance I have to contact local authorities such as the police, your GP or a crisis intervention team. 

Is the therapy available online or face to face? 

Therapy is available both face to face and online.
