Dear reader,

My name is Daniela Cocuzza and I grew up in the suburbs of Stockholm. I started studying Psychology and lived as an expat in the Netherlands where I completed my Bachelor and Master in Clinical Psychology at Leiden University. After my studies I did a year long internship at an international clinic in The Hague before I started I working as a psychologist in and Eating Disorder clinic. In my role as a psychologist within the Dutch health care system I developed myself further as an independent therapist deepening my knowledge of the complex human mind. During my years there I did a VGCT certified training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a ISST certified training in Schema Therapy.

The people I worked with suffered from a range of difficulties besides their eating disorder and in the therapy I worked with  people struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders among others.  I worked both with short term and  long term psychotherapy using an integrative approach applying methods from a range of psychotherapies to adapt the psychotherapy to the specific individual.

During the past years I have also deepened my yoga practice learning more about the way the body and the mind are intertwined and educating myself to become a yoga teacher. I did my 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training at Balanzs studios in The Hague.

In March 2022 I moved back to Sweden and started my private practice offering integrative psychotherapy in the center of Stockholm
